Axeptio has achieved Gold status as a certified CMP partner of Google. This distinction confirms the quality of Axeptio's consent management platform, both in terms of its technical integration and customer support.

New Milestone for Google’s CMP Partner Program

Since its launch in March 2024, Google’s CMP Partner program has evolved to include three levels of recognition: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

Google’s program evaluates consent management platforms against strict criteria related to technical prerequisites, consent implementation, and access to responsive customer support.

Axeptio attained Gold, the highest level of recognition. To achieve this, Axeptio’s CMP met all criteria, including technical consent integration, configuration of Consent Mode v2, and fast, responsive customer support.

 

Gold Partner Status: A Recognition of Industry Excellence

The Gold Partner status is an industry recognition that validates the excellence of Axeptio’s consent management platform. It also demonstrates that Axeptio offers a first-class solution to support brands, publishers, and partner agencies in a rapidly evolving ecosystem.

Axeptio ensures that its CMP complies with regulatory requirements and market standards, including Consent Mode v2, the IAB's TCF v2.2, and management of both web and mobile applications.

 

An Evolution in Google’s Program Since the Introduction of Consent Mode v2

Axeptio first joined Google’s CMP Partner program in March 2024 to facilitate the integration of Consent Mode v2.

As a reminder, Consent Mode v2 is Google’s solution to ensure compliance with the enforcement of the Digital Markets Act. Since then, Consent Mode v2 has been required to use Google’s marketing services for users in the EEA.

 

A recognition which enhances and strengthens our position as a leader in user consent management solutions. Indeed, the Axeptio CMP is Google Consent Mode v2 certified, compatible with the IAB TCF standards, and a must-have CMP for brands and publishers,  to manage user consents on desktop websites and mobile apps.

Integrating Google Consent Mode v2 with the Axeptio CMP

With Axeptio, integrating Consent Mode v2 is simplified through plugins available for Shopify, Webflow, WordPress, Drupal, and Prestashop.

Installation is also possible through Google Tag Manager using the Axeptio template found in the gallery.

 

Verifying the Integration of Consent Mode v2

Since the enforcement of Consent Mode v2, Google has been notifying users of the need to configure it, either via email or directly within Google’s tools. The Tag Diagnostics feature, available in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager, alerts users to tracking issues or problems with Consent Mode v2 implementation.

To verify if Consent Mode v2 is functioning properly, you can test your setup with Axeptio’s Shake scanner.
