Page Views = Total number of pages a user has navigated. A page visited multiple times is counted multiple times.

Unique Page Views = Number of different pages a user has visited. A page visited multiple times is counted only once.

Visitors = Number of unique visitors over a given period. If the visitor returns during this period, they are only counted once.

New Visitors = Number of visitors who have never visited the site before the period studied.

Consent Rate (detailed for mobile and desktop) = Percentage of visitors who have accepted or partially accepted cookies compared to all visitors who have accepted or refused cookies.

Interaction Rate (detailed for mobile and desktop) = Percentage of visitors who have interacted with the widget compared to those who had the opportunity to do so. In other words, new visitors as well as old visitors who have never interacted with the widget.

Opt-in Rate (detailed for mobile and desktop) = Percentage of visitors who have accepted cookies compared to all visitors, including those who have not interacted with the widget.

Hits = A “hit” is counted when a user requests our servers to download the Axeptio script. This counter represents a fraction of the actual traffic, as browsers keep our script in memory. This value was previously used to count the number of page views on the old version of statistics (old calculation method). This metric serves as a reference point for our clients who subscribed to our services before the update of our statistics, whose pricing system was based on this figure.

✅ Quick Bounce Rate (detailed for mobile and desktop) = Percentage of visitors who viewed only one page and left the site in less than 5 seconds.

✅ Engagement Rate (detailed for mobile and desktop) = Percentage of visitors who spent more than 5 seconds on the website or visited 2 or more pages.

All your metrics in one glance

Like all our solutions, our metrics are presented using a user-friendly interface and understandable terms. Our dashboard presents a clear and digestible breakdown of information in the form of navigable screens. Unsure about a statistic? Don’t panic, by hovering over the section that’s causing you trouble, a detailed explanation will appear and allow you to understand everything!

Since our widget loads with every page, your users’ consent is stored with us. And this information is enough to offer you relevant metrics without collecting any personal data!

Clever, isn’t it?
